Welcome to Africa. The capital of Zimbabwe welcomes you with its markets and historical monuments. Colors and scents of a tranquil city full of contemporary history. After landing and customs procedures, you will meet the tour leader at the airport. We will visit the city, walking around center town, if the time of your arrival allows us. A moment of relax before dinner in a typical restaurant. We will stay overnight at a lodge in the center town of Harare.
There is the possibility to arrive one day earlier to enjoy the villages north of the capital, the Balance Rock and the Shona sculpture.
Kariba e Mana Pools
The first night in the wildlife will be on the shores of Lake Kariba arriving in the early afternoon passing curious rural villages. In the late afternoon a special boat will accompany us to see a magical sunset, enjoying hippos and crocodiles. The following day, the UNESCO site of Mana Pools is perhaps one of the most popular destinations for lovers of Safari and African expeditions. The banks of the Zambesi are rich in animals, many mammals and birds that live in contact with the river. The park, thanks to its remote location and its ecosystem, remains intact and nature is absolute master. Elephants, hippos, many predators and antelopes live for survival every instant. We will stay overnight in areas within the park: starry nights and fire will give us strong emotions, with the sounds of animals that are heard in the background.
Harare e Great Zimbabwe
In the early morning we will leave the park, still meeting several animals along the way. Let's go back to Zimbabwe's everyday life and reach Harare in the evening. The next day we will leave in the morning, south direction: Masvingo. We will arrive in the early afternoon after a road that goes through villages and rural areas, dedicating it to the Kyle Area safari. A first contact with animals including rhinos, zebras, impalas, kudu and many other antelopes. Overnight and dinner at an interesting lodge. The following morning will be dedicated to Great Zimbabwe, a UNESCO site. A walk through the history of the country, between the "dry" buildings and vegetation rich in flora. The peculiarity of the place and the mysteries that enclose these ruins will cheer an intriguing morning before continuing on to Bualwayo.
The journey continues into Bulawayo direction. We will have lunch in the city and we introduce you to the history of Cecil Rhodes, entering the UNESCO national park. The park, among its "balance rock", boasts a very high concentration of Leopards. The following day, the possibility of trekking in search of rhinos. Then there will be the rock paintings and walks among the Kopije to make this day unique, in an exciting park between history, culture, magic and mysteries, still linked to local traditions. Impala, watherbuck, wildebeest, kudu, many birds and other animal living in the park.
North direction and Hwange park. After lunch on the road, buying products in the local markets we will meet along the way, we will enter the National Park and we will be back in the photographic safari looking for animals in any pools of water. The magic of this Park with its noises, the colors and the scents of the Hwange Savannah, but also the starry nights and the camp fire, will make this experience engaging and full of emotions. We will move often through the park and stay inside to look for as many animals as possible in a real photographic safari, including lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, hippos, jackals, wild dogs, many antelopes and many birds.
The Victoria Falls, one of the 7 wonders in the world and UNESCO site, where we will arrive for lunch by making a game drive out of the Hwange National Park. Lunch in the city center and afternoon dedicated to enjoy the waterfalls and his beautiful Park. A jump of 90 meters of average up to 108 meters high and a water front of 1700 meters, will surely leave you speechless. We will have dinner in a typical "Africa Style" restaurant. The next day is dedicated to the many activities: from the day at Chobe in Botswana to the walking safari, from canoeing to kayaking through rafting on the Zambezi. The panoramic helicopter and the many adrenaline activities. The following morning, after breakfast, we will take you to the airport, sure to have left an indelible mark and an intense memory.
